ABOUT US

Slash Technology, Inc. was founded in 2005 by Alan Abbott, an Information Technology expert with a Fortune 100 company, and Kathy Abbott, an Emmy-award winning TV producer and graphic designer.

Alan has spent more than a decade working in IT, and has extensive knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software, networks, databases, and even telecommunications engineering.  A Certified Microsoft Professional, Alan continues to expand his knowledge and training to stay on top of the latest technologies.

Kathy is a Senior Producer with a national media company.  After nearly 18 years producing award-winning documentaries and news programs, she is currently heading up the design and architecture of a multi-million dollar educational website.  Kathy's responsibilities have enabled her to marry her love of content, functionality and design, which she enjoys applying to the websites she creates for her community.

The Abbotts formed Slash Technology to make official what they had been doing for years -- helping neighbors navigate the often confusing and frustrating world of technology and the web.  They realized there was a unique need in small towns and rural communities such as Ashland and Hanover, where residents and businesses may not require complicated, expensive solutions. We're happy to sweat the small stuff.
